Refund Policy

The 14-day promise

If Plate Math is not right for you, email [email protected] within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund it in full. No questions, no forms, no "why are you leaving" survey.

That applies to:

• your first paid subscription charge (monthly or annual), and
• a Founding Vendor lifetime purchase.

The 14 days run from the date of the charge. We process approved refunds within 5–10 business days back to the original payment method. How fast it appears on your statement is up to your bank, not us.

What is not covered

Renewal charges. The 14-day window covers your first charge. After that, renewals are not refundable — but you can cancel any time before a renewal and you will not be billed again. We email a receipt on every charge, so a renewal is never a surprise.

Partial periods. If you cancel mid-period, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for. We do not prorate the unused part.

Accounts we closed for a Terms violation. If we terminate your account under Section 13 of the Terms of Service, no refund is due.

Anything past 14 days, except where the law gives you a longer right, or where Section 4.6 of the Terms applies (if we shut the Service down — see below).

Cancelling

Cancel any time from your account, or email [email protected] and we will do it for you. Cancellation stops future billing. It takes effect at the end of your current paid period — you do not lose access the moment you cancel.

Export your data before your access ends. The Service has built-in Excel and PDF export. We are not able to restore an account's data after it has been deleted.

If we shut down

If we ever discontinue Plate Math or a tier, Section 4.6 of the Terms applies: at least 90 days' notice, export kept working through that period, a refund of the unused prepaid portion of any active subscription, and — for a Founding Vendor purchase made within the 12 months before the notice — a pro-rated refund calculated over 24 months.

Before you call your bank

Please email [email protected] first. A chargeback costs us a fee on top of the amount, takes weeks, and it may get your account suspended while it is open — and in almost every case this policy already covers you, immediately and without the hassle. We would genuinely rather just refund you.
